VALUATION IS THE PROCESS OF DETERMINING THE VALUE OR QUALITY OF THE PROCESS AND PRODUCT OF EDUCATION, ESPECIALLY LEARNING, BASED ON THE RESULTS OF ASSESSMENT RELATIVE TO SPECIFIED OBJECTIVES, STANDARDS OR CRITERIA.  EVALUATION IS JUDGMENTAL WITH EITHER EXTERNAL OR INTERNAL CRITERIA. UNLIKE, MEASUREMENT, EVALUATION IS SUBJECTIVELY DEPENDENT ON THE STANDARD OR CRITERIA ON WHICH THE EVALUATION DECISION IS BASED.
